Jesus honored his mother, Mary, at all times. He respects his mother when he was young. When he was around 30 years old and actively involved in public ministry, Jesus didn’t allow himself to be pressured by his mother and her demands (see Matthew 12:25-27) – yet he clearly loved and honored her. Even when he was hanged on the cross with real pain he gave attention to her needs, entrusting her to the care of John, his faithful disciple (see John 19:25-27). Thus, as a grown man and woman, you too can honor your mother without allowing her to restrict your work or your movements. Mother is our first lady, she is to be honored.
The Scripture clearly says, “’Honor your father and mother’. This is the first commandment with a promise: If you honor your father and mother, ‘things will go well for you, and you will have long life on the earth’” (Ephesians 6:2-3, NLT).

our first lady. We still try our
best to honor her.
Friends, mother is our first lady, she is to be honored.
Jesus Himself exemplified it. The Bible testified it. God our loving Father confirmed it!
